Willoe Terms of Service
Terms
Effective date: June 8, 2026
These Terms are the rules for using Willoe. By visiting the website, texting Willoe, starting checkout, using a trial, receiving check-ins, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Willoe is not medical care. It does not diagnose, prescribe, provide dosing instructions, monitor you, or replace your clinician. If something feels urgent, contact your pregnancy care team or call emergency services.
1. What Willoe Is
Willoe is a consumer pregnancy companion by text. It provides evidence-aware framing, tradeoff thinking, memory, check-ins you request, and prompts for better questions to bring to a pregnancy care team.
Willoe is not a doctor, midwife, nurse, doula, therapist, emergency line, medical device, health plan, clinic, or substitute for professional care.
2. Who May Use Willoe
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be in the United States unless we clearly say the service is available elsewhere.
- If you use Willoe to support someone else, you are responsible for respecting that person's privacy and sharing only what you have permission to share.
- You may not use Willoe if you are barred from using it under applicable law.
3. Not Medical Advice
- Willoe provides general informational support and decision framing only.
- Willoe does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, dosing guidance, or clinician-patient care.
- You are responsible for confirming health decisions with a licensed pregnancy care professional who knows your situation.
- Do not delay or avoid professional care because of something Willoe says or fails to say.
- AI outputs can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, even when they sound confident.
4. Emergencies and Crisis Situations
Willoe is not for emergencies. Do not use Willoe to monitor urgent symptoms or crisis situations. If you may be experiencing vaginal bleeding, severe or persistent abdominal pain, severe headache with vision changes, reduced or absent fetal movement, leaking fluid, fever, thoughts of self-harm, abuse, or any urgent concern, contact your pregnancy care team now or call 911. In the United States, you can call or text 988 for suicide and crisis support.
5. Text Messaging Consent
By texting Willoe or asking Willoe to text you, you consent to receive SMS, MMS, iMessage-style, or similar messages from Willoe at the phone number you use or provide. These may include onboarding, answers, check-ins you request, safety responses, service notices, trial and subscription notices, billing links, cancellation confirmations, and limited product messages related to your use of Willoe.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Message frequency varies based on your use and check-in choices.
- Text STOP, unsubscribe, quit, opt out, revoke consent, end messages, stop texting me, or no more texts to opt out.
- Text START to begin again after opting out.
- Text DELETE to erase your Willoe profile and memory.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Check-Ins
Check-ins are optional service messages. They require your consent and an active trial or subscription. Willoe may use a weekly check-in rhythm by default after onboarding, and you can ask to pause, stop, or change check-ins at any time. Check-ins are not monitoring, remote patient care, or an emergency system. They may be delayed, skipped, interrupted, or unavailable.
7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
- Willoe may offer a 3-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews and you will be charged the price shown at checkout.
- The current standard monthly price shown on the website is $12/month. The current annual option shown on the website is $99/year. The final price, billing cadence, taxes, and terms shown in Stripe Checkout control if they differ.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Stripe processes payments. Willoe does not store your full card number.
- You can ask Willoe for billing help, use Stripe's billing portal when available, or text DELETE/STOP to trigger health-data deletion and an attempted subscription cancellation tied to your profile.
- Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, payments are non-refundable.
8. Your Responsibilities
- Use Willoe only for lawful, personal, non-emergency purposes.
- Do not submit information you do not have the right to share.
- Do not use Willoe to harass, abuse, threaten, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or interfere with the service.
- Do not rely on Willoe as your only source for pregnancy, medical, mental-health, safety, or legal decisions.
- Keep your phone and messaging account secure. Anyone with access to your messages may see Willoe texts.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and how STOP and DELETE work. By using Willoe, you agree that we may process information as described there.
10. Third-Party Services
Willoe depends on third-party services for messaging, AI, hosting, databases, analytics, and payments. Their systems may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party outages, carrier delays, Stripe checkout availability, model-provider failures, or telecom delivery issues.
11. Intellectual Property
Willoe, the website, product design, prompts, copy, software, branding, and related materials are owned by Willoe or its licensors. You may use the service for your personal use, but you may not copy, resell, or create a competing service from Willoe materials without permission.
If you send feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.
12. Service Changes and Availability
Willoe may change, pause, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe there is misuse, legal risk, security risk, nonpayment, or a violation of these Terms.
13. Disclaimers
Willoe is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, error-free operation, medical suitability, or clinical effectiveness.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Willoe and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for reliance on non-medical informational content. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Willoe is limited to the amount you paid Willoe in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
15. Indemnity
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Willoe harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or submission of information you did not have the right to share.
16. Disputes
If a dispute comes up, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of California, except for conflict-of-law rules and except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise. Any court proceeding must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in California unless applicable law gives you another mandatory venue.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Willoe changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page, changing the effective date, or sending a service notice. Continuing to use Willoe after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Contact
For legal, billing, or privacy questions, email arjun.shukla.la@gmail.com or text the Willoe number with HELP. Do not use email or Willoe for emergencies.
